Our Practice

The Kingsley Family Practice is a medical practice where patients come first and our goal is to provide the best possible medical care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

Our multi-disciplinary medical centre has helped many patients take control of their health. Our GP's are highly skilled,  experienced and work collaboratively in the interests of our patients. 

​

Pathology services and a chemist are also located just outside the centre.

​

Our practice is accredited by AGPAL (Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited)  for maintaining the standards in General Practice and also by the RACGP (Royal Australian College of General Practitioners)  as a training post for medical registrars.

Billing Policy

We are a mixed billing practice, allowing us to provide the highest quality of care while still catering for our patients with the greatest need.

Bulk-billing is available to the following patient groups for the majority of consultation types: 

  • Children under 16 years of age

  • Concession Card holders (Health Care Card or Aged Pension Card)

  • DVA Gold Card Holders (& White Card Holders for entitled conditions)

​

Bulk-billing is available to all Medicare card holders for the following:​

  • GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements and Care Plan Reviews

  • Health Assessments

  • Over 75s mandatory Older Driver medicals

 

A private fee applies for patients who are not eligible under the above bulk billing criteria (this includes phone consults) and all consultations on a Saturday are privately billed whether you have a concession card or not. 

Accounts must be settled on the day.

Dr Mina Rezkalla

BPharm MBBS (Hons) FRACGP

(Practice Principal)

Dr Mina Rezkalla graduated from Medicine with honours at the University of Notre Dame. Prior to studying medicine, he was a qualified community pharmacist. He undertook specialist training as a General Practitioner after working at a number of WA hospitals gaining experience in paediatrics, ENT, emergency medicine, mental health and various medical/surgical specialities. Dr Rezkalla also spent time abroad in Edinburgh UK, advancing his skills in obstetrics and antenatal care.

​

Dr Rezkalla is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Special interests include chronic disease management, skin cancer management, and use of alternative therapies for chronic pain, insomnia and anxiety. Dr Rezkalla also provides iron infusions, venesection for haemochromatosis, and various surgical procedures. 

​

Dr Rezkalla is the practice principal and is involved in training medical students, and is an Adjunct Senior Clinical Lecturer with Curtin University Medical School.  He is also an RACGP Supervisor.

Dr Sheng Chao 
MBBS FRACGP

Dr Sheng Chao is an Australian trained Specialist Procedural GP. He obtained his medical degree from University of Western Australia in 2000. He spent 4 years in post graduate training with Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, including 2 years as a surgical registrar before deciding to follow his passion for General Practice. Dr Chao has worked as a rural GP and was granted the privilege to provide surgical and endoscopy services at the local district hospital by Rural Health WA.  

 

After returning to Perth and gaining his RACGP Fellowship, Dr Chao had expanded his surgical skills into skin cancer surgery, cosmetic medicine and comprehensive vein treatments. He has travelled interstate and internationally to expand his surgical skill repertoire including learning endovenous laser treatment with a cardiovascular surgeon in Pusan South Korea. He obtained a professional diploma in aesthetic medicine with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM).  

 

Dr Chao has a special interest in skin cancer surgery, cutaneous oncology, cosmetic medicine, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment in knee arthritis and tendinopathy. Dr Chao also provides vein treatments including microsclerotherapy, ultrasound foam sclerotherapy, micro phlebectomy (keyhole vein removal) and endovenous laser treatment.

Dr Updesh Dhillon
MBBS (Hons) FRACGP

 

Dr Dhillon is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and graduated with honours from the University of Notre Dame Australia in Fremantle.


Prior to studying medicine, he worked in the finance industry after earning a masters degree from University of Sydney and a bachelor’s of engineering from the University of New South Wales in Sydney. Since graduating as a doctor, he has gained a diverse range of medical and surgical experience from several major hospitals around Perth including Royal Perth Hospital and St John of God Midland Hospital.


Dr Dhillon has experience in all aspects of general practice but is especially interested in complex medical issues, mens health, chronic disease management including diabetes, cardiovascular disease + respiratory health. Other interests includes weight loss management, treating sleep disorders and sexual health. 
Dr Dhillon believes in placing his patients first and developing meaningful doctor-patient relationships which is crucial in providing optimal health care. 
Outside work, Dr Dhillon enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Manal Rezkalla
MB ChB FRACGP

 

Dr Manal Rezkalla is an Australian qualified Specialist General Practitioner with special interests in women’s health, skin cancer surgery and surgical procedures.  

She obtained her medical degree at University of Alexandria, Egypt. She then re-qualified as a doctor in Australia through the Australian Medical Council before deciding to follow her passion by choosing General Practice as her chosen speciality.  

 

She has worked as a rural GP with Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) privileges, providing in-patient and emergency medical services to the local district hospital.  

 

After attaining her RACGP Fellowship, Dr Rezkalla frequently travelled interstate to expand her procedural skills. She undertook training in skin cancer surgery and IUD insertion techniques through the University of Queensland, as well as sclerotherapy, vein surgery, laser techniques and vascular ultrasound skills with Australian College of Phlebology.  

 

She was mentored by Dr Michel Delune (founding member and president of American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine) and obtained her professional certificate with the academy. 

 

Dr Rezkalla has special interests in skin cancer surgery, aesthetic medicine (wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, thread face lift, CO2 laser resurfacing) IUD insertion, vein treatments (sclerotherapy, vein surgery, endovenous laser, and PRP treatment for tendinitis and knee arthritis.

Dr Nicole Becker
BSc(Hons) MD PhD

Dr Nicole Becker graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2020 after a previous career as a lecturer and researcher in physics having obtained her PhD in this field. Before starting her training in General Practice, Nicole worked at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Joondalup Health Campus where she spent the majority of her time working in emergency and general medicine.

Nicole enjoys caring for people of all ages and has special interests in mental health care and care of chronic conditions as well as care of the elderly and children. On weekends Nicole enjoys walking with her two dogs, spending time with family and friends as well as going to the beach and basketball.
Dr Zaheer Hansia 
MD BE(Hons) BSc

Dr Zaheer Hansia is a compassionate doctor who graduated from the University of Western Australia. He commenced his medical career at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and has also worked at Joondalup Health Campus and Hedland Health Campus. 
​

Prior to working as a doctor, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer on several mining projects around Western Australia. But his true passion is in medicine.

​

He joins Kingsley Family Practice as a GP Registrar with interests in paediatrics, men’s health, mental health, older adult medicine, and chronic disease management. 

Outside of work he enjoys AFL, motorsports, hiking, and photography.

Dr Thomas Jewell

Dr Thomas Jewell was born and raised in country Western Australia. He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at UWA in 2018, before training at Royal Perth Hospital in various specialties, predominantly acute medicine.
 
His main area of interest is in preventative medicine, with a belief that optimal care can only be achieved through identifying and addressing issues before they become chronic problems. He also believes in a comprehensive and evidence based approach to managing existing disease.
 
His additional areas of interests include cardiology, weight loss medicine and skin cancer management. Outside of work he enjoys surfing, wine and spending time with family.
